It seems the manufacturers are finally catching on to the the fact that 460cv everybody wants a cc brick for a driver. I’m just as long with my old and TP as I am anything else.

I played a Ping 20, recently switched to a Ping G I believe they were bore thru. I understand the technology that makes a GI iron more forgiving on off center hits, but does this same technology detract from the accuracy of center strikes? Wanna get rid of this ugly yellow box? Hence because you almost never see a blade with a taller head height than a cavity back, blades have a lower CG.

Would a shorter shaft on the driver be more user friendly for us higher handy capers? Personally I play a cc driver. Bottom line though is that it very definitely is possible to make a driver head with a volume of cc to cc that would perform every bit as well for distance and off center hit performance as any of the cc heads currently on the market.
